At Marine Fish Masters, we are passionate about the health and quality of every creature that leaves our facility. Our fish are individually inspected, quarantined, and expertly cared for by master aquarists before they are shipped to your door.

But we know that in this hobby, sometimes things go sideways—it’s just part of keeping marine life. You need a guarantee that respects the realities of shipping and acclimation.

That's why you are covered by our Tank You Very Much policy.

If your new arrival experiences a loss up to 24 hours after arrival, we've got your back—no lengthy interrogation necessary. This window is more than enough time for your fish to recover from transit and demonstrate they are ready to thrive in their new home. Just snap a quick photo, and we'll issue a credit.

How to File a Claim

Losses are rare, but when they happen, we make it easy. Just file your claim here, including a clear photograph of the casualty along with your corresponding order number.

Policy Rules & Details:

To ensure a smooth process, please follow these guidelines:

Photo Evidence is Required: Please do not dispose of the fish until you have taken a clear, high-resolution photo. This photo is essential for processing your claim.

Coverage Exclusions: We do not cover losses resulting from:

  • "Disappearing" fish (unconfirmed loss).
  • Aggression or bullying from existing tank mates.
  • Tank structural or functional failures (e.g., equipment malfunction, poor water quality).
  • Fish that show obvious signs of trauma, significant damage, or harassment (e.g., shredded fins, bite marks, or missing body portions). We strongly recommend using a temporary acclimation box to safely introduce new arrivals.

Credit Details: We issue store credit for the purchase price of the lost fish only. Shipping costs are non-refundable and not included in the credit.

Replacement Purchases: Your credit can be applied toward a replacement fish or any other livestock on our site—it's your choice!

Limit of Guarantee: This guarantee may be redeemed only once per customer, per individual fish purchased.

Exclusions: The T.Y.V.M. Guarantee does not apply to clearance, special-order, or otherwise specified items.

High-Value Item Claims ($1,000+):

For any casualty valued over $1,000, we require an extra step for verification. The lost fish must be photographed next to a printout of your order details, including the date and time of the photo. Failure to provide this specific documentation will unfortunately invalidate the guarantee for high-value items
